How to Import Dogs to Walkzee from RescueGroups.org

Dog Profiles can be imported from rescuegroups.org if you already have an account there. To import your dogs please follow the steps outlined below:

1. In account, you can see the rescue group id. Update this with your rescue group id and click 'save'.

2. Next we are going to go to the dogs page to start the import. From here we click on 'Import'.

3. We are then brought to our import page. The import can take up to 30 minutes if you have a
lot of dog profiles to import.

4. To start the import we click 'Import Now'.

6. This process can take a long time, please be patient.

7. Once the import is complete, go back to the dogs page. Here we can see that our dogs are
not in this list. This is because the imported dog profiles are not yet live.

8. To set them live we need to click on 'Filters' then 'Drafts'.

9. Here we can see all of our imported dog profiles

10. We can save or delete them.

11. Once you click save on a dog, the profile is now live. Go back to the 'Saved' section where you can edit the profile, mark him as adopted
or delete the profile.

At this point I would like to point out that any special styling or hyperlinks that you set in rescue groups will not work in walkzee so we recommend that you review the dog profiles after the import to ensure that you are happy with the result.
