Adding a Training or Orientation Program
Many shelters have training and orientation programs and we have built Walkzee to not only support this, but to help you manage the programs and streamline your processes. If you have a program in place please follow this guide to make sure potential walkers know about your training.
They will be prompted to request the walk so you can start a conversation about completing the training.

Adding a Training Program
- Select Volunteer Training from the left side of the screen
- Click the Add New Training Program button
- Enter the name of the training or orientation program
- If your training is mandatory, check the box next to the mandatory training text
- Add a short description explaining your training program in the text box. NOTE: Best practice is to start your description with the amount of time your training takes to complete so the walker is aware how much time they will need to spend to meet your requirements.
- Click the Save button
They will be prompted to request the walk so you can start a conversation about completing the training.
