How to know if you have a walk request

  1. You will receive an email with the walk request
  2. The notification icon on the top right corner of your screen will have a red bubble with a number
  3. The top section of your shelter dashboard will show any walk requests that you have not yet responded to.

Checking for Training Compliance

  1. From the walkzee page, you will see a list of pending requests
  2. Next to the walker name, there will be an icon indicating whether or not a walker has completed your training.
    1. Yes - A blue circle with a check mark
    2. No - A yellow triangle with an exclamation point

Responding to a Walk Request

  1. Accepting a walk request
    1. To accept a walk request, click the green accept button to the right of the request
  2. Gathering more information about a walker
    1. If you need more information from the walker prior to approving a walk, click the blue reply button to start a conversation with the walker. You can use this feature to let them know when training may take place or to verify details that might not come across clearly in their profile.
  3. Cancelling a walk request - Never cancel a walk request without sending an explanation
    1. First, click the blue reply button to send the walker a message to let them know why the walk has been cancelled.
    2. Once you've sent the walker an explanation - you can click the grey cancel button to cancel the walk.
